While you're websurfing, here are links to some organizations and people whose work, artistry, and endeavors are important to me. KB

www.100blackmen.org : "100 Black Men of America, Inc. is committed to the intellectual development of youth and the economic empowerment of the African American community based on the following precepts: respect for family, spirituality, justice, and integrity." I was so impressed and inspired by the work that this group does with young people across the nation that I wrote a song about them -- "What They See" is now the national theme song for the 100 Black Men of America. You can hear an excerpt on their website, and hear the entire song on my latest CD, New Standards.

www.acfb.org : The Atlanta Community Food Bank, founded in 1979, provides food and other donated products to more than 750 nonprofit partner agencies serving 38 counties across North Georgia centered on the Metro Atlanta area, who in turn distribute food to low-income Georgians.
